Aotearoa | New Zealand In 16 Days | April 2017

In April of 2017, our family made the journey over the ditch to the “land of the long white cloud”. We started on the North Island from Auckland and made our way down by car over just two weeks, finishing on the South Island in Christchurch.

It was a first time for everyone of us to travel overseas, and NZ did so much more than impress. As avid landscape photographers it was hard not to stop every 10 mins to capture her beauty. 16 days was not long enough. Our itinerary took us to the highlights such as the Auckland Skytower, Rotorua Geysers, Tongariro National Park, Queenstown, Milford Sound & Mount Cook to name a few, and as wondrous as they are, time was our enemy. As soon as as we fell in love with them, we had to leave for our next destination. However we are grateful for the experience and plan to visit again, but over a much longer stay.

The below pictures tell our story, a brief snapshot of what we saw in 16 days and fell in love with.
