Forever And A Day | Castlemaine Wedding Photographer
When good friends Kristie & Brad approached us to capture their wedding day, of course we said yes. The plan was for it to be “low key”, just a simple ceremony at their home with their two boys, the folks and a handful of besties, followed by some celebratory drinks and a night of tunes. Well it sort went like that, but these things have a way of evolving into something bigger. On a Saturday morning in November, Brad & his man crew waited anxiously by the Loddon River in the Vaughan Springs Reserve, before Kristie arrived in style in a friends 63 Pontiac Laurentian. Their ceremony was definitely very “low key”, or as Brad would say, “low stress”; but at the same time, it was heartfelt, sincere and honest, Kristie & Brad officiating what has already been a long-lasting journey shared together. After some fun and shenanigans post ceremony, we’d soon meet later that evening at the Campbells Creek Community Centre where all of their friends would be able to join in and celebrate the brand new nuptials with a few laughs, a few more drinks, followed by a selection of musician friends providing their wedding day soundtrack. Good friends and good times!
Thanks for inviting us guys! xxoo
