On The Edge Of The Lake | Daylesford Wedding Photographer

There’s the big weddings with all the bells and whistles and family and friends who come from near and far to help celebrate. Or, there’s Sandra & Chris. Their guest list included their two adorable two daughters, aptly taking on the role of flowergirls and Sandra’s parents who witnessed a honest, laidback and heartfelt ceremony. Their DIY wedding started at Hepburns ‘The Edge’, an architecturally designed luxury building set amongst the Hepburn State Forest. While we waited for their celebrant, Tracey to arrive to officiate the two, both were very relaxed. Upstairs, eldest girl Addison took much interest in mum’s wedding gown before it was time for Sandra to slip into it. Meanwhile Chris was downstairs casually preparing the deck outside and checking the music was right to go. There was just enough time for Sandra to decorate their cake, Addison excitedly looking on before everyone met together to enjoy a quick pre wedding champagne to calm any nerves. And at a little after 11am, Sandra emerged from the house to meet Chris’s eyes and their daughters hugs to say their ‘I do’s’. Shortly after becoming husband and wife, we whisked them away for a walk around Lake Daylesford where we were spoilt for choice to create some timeless memories for them on such an amazing day!
