A Maternal Hike | Macedon Ranges Maternity Photographer

We tagged along with the lovely Helena & Ronald for a hike up and around the Black Hill Reserve to quickly capture a very pregnant Helena (30 weeks to be precise!) before they both had to leave Australia for the Netherlands. It was very humid and I was a little worried that the descent up the hill would be too much for her, but she assured me that she was still running and cycling and liked to keep fit, regardless of her developing bump!! Having only moved here from the NL 1 and half years ago, they had fallen in love with the Australian landscape and wanted to integrate that into their shoot. Black Hill was an obvious choice, and was Helena & Ronalds idea having explored here before. We had the whole reserve to ourselves, it was just beautiful, ‘classic’ Australia feels and a time the couple +1 get to cherish many times over.
