April Sun | Macedon Ranges Wedding Photographers

On the first Saturday in April, the Autumn kissed Macedon played host to one of our favourite weddings this year. We started with Anthony and his grooms at Macedons Honour Avenue to capture the iconic row of oaks in all their Autumn glory. Trouble was, so were a few hundred tourists doing the same! Instead of fighting against the masses we joined them and took a few cheeky selfies ourselves! Next stop was the familiar Mount Macedon Winery, tucked under a rise of gums holding onto the side of the mountain where Mel and her girls were counting down the minutes till they would be walking down the aisle. Those minutes quickly diminished as a stunning Mel in an equally amazing Nicole Spose gown, along with her dad walked the garden path to meet Anthony, their golden retriever Spencer and a generous gathering of family and friends. A very special ceremony proceeded, followed by a surprise visit from Mel & Anthony’s other fur baby, Oakley! The sun put on an amazing golden light for us come golden hour and the stars would then come out to play. Perfect!!
