Light Fantastic | Malmsbury Wedding Photographers

With rain imminent on Willow & Maxwells wedding day, we assumed that we’d get the call to move to ‘Plan B’. But we didn’t. Willow was adamant that it was still going ahead, come rain, hail or shine at one of her favourite places, the Malmsbury Botanical Gardens. The wild weather the night before had brought down a large limb from the tree we planned to have the ceremony under, and the wedding arch that Maxwell made the night before ended up being round rather than square! Still the day went ahead as planned, the rain considerate enough to hold out for most of the ceremony while their two little ones, family and friends hid under a sea of umbrellas. Their wedding just goes to prove that whatever challenges you are faced with, at the end of the day, it’s not going to stop you marrying the love of your life. But it will make for a memorable day and a great story to tell the kids!
