Jennifer & Norman

Old Rectory | Kyneton

By The Pond | Macedon Ranges Wedding Photographer

The current predicament we find ourselves in now with the global pandemic has devastated many wedding plans this year and has had couples either postponing or adapting to the government mandates. When Jennifer & Norman called us a month out from their planned wedding day we gladly obliged. Their initial plan was to have the big day with a generous guest list of nearest and dearest at Beaufort but with stage 3 restrictions enforced could only plan for a party of 5. By the time their wedding day came around, they were lucky enough to invite a few more guests with a relaxing of restrictions. Kyneton’s historic and iconic ‘Old Rectory’ made for the perfect venue for this adorably ‘young at heart’ pair…

Malmsbury In Isolation #4

25th May to 29th June 2020

Our Village | Malmsbury Photographer

So as they say, all good things come to an end! As restrictions recently were lifted, initiated by a fall in positive Covid-19 cases, we felt that we could no longer capture an honestly depiction of how the lockdowns had affected you. And now, as it seems, restrictions may well be enforced again with a steady rise in cases in Victoria alone. There’s no denying it, this year (as of June 25th) there have been 488,901 deaths globally due to Covid-19. That’s more than Malaria, Homicides, Suicides, Influenza and Malnutrition, and in only 6 months…

Taylah & Corey

Glen Erin | Lancefield

High School Sweethearts | Macedon Ranges Wedding Photographer

The story of Taylah & Corey is like a dreamy coming of age romcom. All of the key storylines are there. They met through school, started dating 3 years later. Their hearts grew stronger for each other and found a common interest in Mario Cart (we wonder is more competitive?!) Soon they’d find themselves jetset travelling the world together. After 5 years of starting this whirlwind romance, during a trip to America…

Malmsbury In Isolation #3

6th May to 24th May 2020

Our Village | Malmsbury Photographer

Welcome to yet another edition and our third installment of the Malmsbury In Isolation Project. In this edition we take you back over a month ago and introduce you to another 10 families over 18 days during our time in ‘isolation’. The Botanical gardens proved popular again as an Autumn backdrop, as well as the oval, viaduct and family homes. We enjoyed walks, bike riding, bonfires, music, playing in the backyard, gardening, time with family, time in the sandpit, a bite to eat, exploring paddocks and walking the dog. We hope you have been enjoying seeing some familiar faces and how they have been spending the days during this historic time…

Beth & Will

Taradale House Estate | Taradale

Lovers Leap | Bendigo Wedding Photographer

On this years February leap day, we captured not one but two weddings. Our first one introduces us to Beth & Will. Hailing from the Mornington Peninsula, the couple made the trip to local wedding venue, Taradale House Estate to be married in front of a modest gathering of their nearest and dearest. Even their two adopted fur babies were honourable guests and dressed appropriately….

Malmsbury In Isolation #2

27th April to 5th May 2020

Our Village | Malmsbury Photographer

Welcome to the second edition of our Malmsbury In Isolation story. Since starting our documentary of the town we have been overwhelmed with the response from our neighbours and the media. Everyone has been so supportive and welcoming and we thank you for letting us into your lives if not for a brief moment in time. In this blog we meet parents, teachers, vintners, graphic designers, cattle breeders, carpenters, artists, grandmothers, retirees and those that work in health, retail and hospitality. We are a broad and talented bunch of villagers all trying to make sense of this pandemic and we think you are all doing it extremely well!

Malmsbury In Isolation #1

17th to 25th April 2020

Our Village | Malmsbury Photographer

Life in Malmsbury, documenting family’s and our town while ‘isolating’ during the recent historic events and government mandates taking place all over the world due to the highly contagious coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic. While visiting families of our fellow Malmsberians, we have listened to many stories of how livelihoods have changed, life has slowed for some while others it is busier than ever, some have lost their jobs while others have been forced to adapt to working from home…

Cynthia & Lee

Alkoomi | Cobaw

Promise Made | Macedon Ranges Wedding Photographers

Our very last wedding for 2019 saw us travel to Cobaw to a private property by the name Alkoomi. It was here that we met for the first time Cynthia & Lee, a young and beautiful couple from Melbourne who in 7 months will become proud parents of twins!! We also met there lovely family who welcomed us with open arms (and hugs) who would witness a very relaxed and intimate celebration of love under the gum trees by the lake. Their black Lab ‘Manny’ also completed the guest list…
