Nicole & Jhol | Butlers Lane Vineyard
Get ready for an explosion of colour, culture and kindred souls. It’s the love story of Nicole and Jhol. A chance meeting at The Toff In Town, a game of longest eye contact, a vodka lime and soda, ditching their friends to strike up a lengthy conversation before the bar closed and a 5am burger and the couple were hooked on each other! A little while later the proposal came during a private dinner on a picture perfect jetty in Vanuatu. Smooth Jhol, smooth! Fast forward to their wedding day, postponed once due to the pandemic, the couple had really thought about how they wanted to make it significant, not only to themselves but for their multicultural gathering of friends and family. A flood of orange marigolds on the grooms lapels, in the bouquets, and throughout the venue, represented Nicoles Dutch heritage while for Jhol the Marigolds, called Gada ful in Bangladesh, signified a threaded flower, representing the union and joining of two cultures. It was an amazing day spent at Butlers Lane Vineyard, with something happening around every corner. Nicole & Jhol later surprised guests with a change into a traditional Bangladeshi outfit, and then not one but two spontaneous dance workshops…just to keep everyone on their toes!! Definitely a celebration to remember for a long time to come!!
