Carolyn & Rod | Lake House

Yet another couple who had to navigate around last year’s pandemic restrictions and disappointments, Carolyn & Rod finally had the ‘love fest’ they’d been planning for (for sooooo long!). It saw us head to Daylesford to meet the couple at the infamous Lake House, where finally meeting them in person for the first time found them to be a fun and upbeat duo that didn’t take themselves too seriously, but did have strong family bonds and a modest gathering of besties! When their nearest and dearest were seated and waiting for the “I do’s” to happen, Caz finally appeared and met Rod’s gaze as she walked down with her father to meet him, the reflection of light from the nearby lake glistening over the scene. Their kids too, honorary bridesmaids and grooms, were witnesses to this beautiful celebration of new love and before they all knew it, their blended families were one. Fast forward to the evening, there was plenty of opportunity for Caz & Rod to let their hair down. Young and old, dancing shoes on, fave tunes cranking, it was a night to remember for the couple who you could so plainly see were meant for each other.
