Blinding Lights

It was a perfect day in the Newstead, a perfect day for an outdoor bush wedding! A wedding which saw Maddison & Jacob, two absolute blinding lights, and their nearest and dearest come together to celebrate the obvious connection these two had. Maddy sparkled in a dress, handed down from her sister who had purchased it second hand and never had the opportunity to wear it herself, while Jacob opted for an earthy brown square pattern 2-piece. The vibe was rustic, earthy and a little bit industrial, with almost everything handmade. Rows of seats circled a 4 pillar round metal arbor setting the scene and underlying theme of inclusivity regardless of how you resonated with the person beside you. And you definitely felt that as Maddy & Jacob pronounced their vows to each other, surrounded by their faves, all there for the one reason….because they adored these two! The ceremony was short, but nonetheless sweet before hugs, kisses, and the celebrations began. It really didn’t feel like there was a rule book to this wedding, Maddy & Jacob did it all on their own terms and let the day play out organically. It kind of felt like a fancy dress party in the bush, but only better, and one I’m humbled to have been invited to!
