So is it time to update your family photos? Is there a new addition to the family? Or you don’t have any family photos because someone is always behind the camera taking them! BUT…you grimace at the thought of having your photo taken. Fair enough, so do I! But let me tell you, after a session with me you’ll be glad you did make that booking!
My family sessions are catered to you. I portray your individuality through getting to know you, finding out what your hobbies and passions are I will aim to document these for you so your session has more meaning to you. Let’s keep it natural, I’ll definitely guide you through it all but we’ll be having a lot of fun improvising too because those moments are often the best!
I also need to plan where and when we will capture your photos. The Macedon Ranges really does spoil us for choice and having lived here for over 40 years, I know almost every back road there is. I have my fave spots but please, invite me to your farm, I’m not shy when it comes to jumping over fences!! Time of day is crucial to your shoot too, but realise that is not always practical for everyone to be in the one place at the one time. But I do strongly advise a session either early morning or better still, late evening; that beautiful amazing golden light an hour before the sun sets is divine.
