Shanae & Simon | Mount Macedon Winery

There was magic in the air for Shanae & Simon on the day of their wedding. We felt it from the beginning. As soon as we started shooting it was obvious the bond this couple shared. While Shanae and her mum and dad prepared for the ceremony with gifts to each other and a cheeky glass of champagne, Simon was experiencing all levels of excitement and nerves. Even one of his page boys was probably feeling more anxious than him. Unbeknownst to Simon, Shanae surprised him with an Eleanor styled Mustang to chariot him and his besties to the wedding venue at Woodends, Mount Macedon Winery (we’re sooo jealous!). It was then that the mountain decided that it wasn’t going to be a dry wedding and family and friends rushed for cover, escaping the rain under umbrellas till they found their place and waited for the bride to arrive. Shanae soon arrived in a perfect example of a 1927 Dodge Tourer and didn’t keep Simon waiting long before walking down the planks towards her husband to be. By the time the couple had said there I dos, their heads were literally in the clouds as the mountain decided to end the rain and bring an amazing magical mist in its wake. It was surreal, it was sublime and it was magical. A fitting backdrop to an equally magical and beautiful couple!✨
