Due to popular demand, they’re doing it again! Journey By Light Photography will be running their second night photography workshop for the year this December. They’ll show you how easy, fun and rewarding night photography can be using just your digital camera and tripod and an array of supplied light painting tools too!. Approx running times will be 8:00pm to 11:00pm with your hosts Adam (owner and photographer from JBL) & his brother Glenn (a passionate creative, photographer and light painter extraordinaire!).
This is a hands on workshop suitable for any skill level. You do not need to be an experienced photographer, and do not need to know anything about night photography. You will be creating a huge array of images throughout the night encompassing light painting, astrophotography and star trails (weather dependant).
They promise that you will come away from this workshop excited to venture out under the night skies to start creating your own amazing art works. They will guide you through the night and get you to experiment with various light painting tools while comprehensively guiding you on what camera settings to use, how to focus in the dark and how to create amazing compositions.
What you will need is;
Digital camera capable of long exposures up to 30 secs (If you have bulb mode and a trigger, even better!)
Warm dark clothing
Torch or Headlight
Hydration & Nutrition
Plenty of Enthusiasm
