Some places on this rock stop us in our tracks and challenge our purpose. Milford Sound is one of those places. It’s sheer mountainous walls, trees hanging on for dear life, dark blue-black waters and Mitre’s Peak piercing the low lying clouds will simply take your breath away. Places like this force us to contemplate our own brief existence, and how it pales insignificantly to the vastness of a beautiful and majestic landscape like this, seemingly frozen in time.
