Five Kings Of Macedon

Why you ask? Well take a seat, here’s your history lesson! This image of these 5 frisky fillies was taken just outside of Woodend…but not in Macedon. But here’s the connection. My middle name is Philip, which means friend of horses. I do love horses, and have been known to “dapple in the saddle” every now and then. The name Philip is of Greek origin, and has been around for a long time. Apparently it was the name of five kings of Macedon (Ancient Greece), including Philip II the father of Alexander the Great. Therefore, we thought it fitting to name this image after the five kings! December 2013
