Gemma & Jake | Kerrie

Add some determination, a bunch of resilience, a touch of creativity and some good old luck and Gemma & Jake made their wedding day finally happen! But to get here, they had to jump a lot of pandemic hurdles. Making plan B their plan A, they moved the wedding to a much smaller location than originally planned to the Old Kerrie School, and sent out invitations to only 10 souls. It rained intermittently throughout the ceremony, and even a couple of rainbows appeared behind the couple. And when those words “you’re now officially Mr & Mrs” were announced by their celebrant, I can tell you there was a fair bit of fist pumping and Gemma & Jake weren’t short of a smile!

So they made their plan B their plan A but they still brought a little bit of the farm with them too; the old John Deere, a pair of Westerns, a couple of akubras and some new Stockies wielded with precision as Jake cracked them over Gemma’s bouquet! It was all over pretty quickly, as the sun faded over the hills but it was oh so good.

Sending big hugs and kisses to one of the loveliest couples I’ve met and may you keep crackin’ those whips and scootin’ those boots! XOXO
