If I was to describe Robert and Kylies wedding day in only a few words it’d be cheeky, spicy and bold; just like a nice Shiraz! The two lovers celebrated at Lancefield’s Cleveland Winery with family and friends who had waited patiently 12 months from their original “save-the-date”, the previous year wrought with pandemic restrictions. As guests started arriving, the homestead was a buzz with excitement, and Robert and Kylie couldn’t resist a quick first look before getting ready to head down the aisle. With page boy Nicholas in charge of ring security, he aptly strolled down the aisle to start proceedings as the Mission Impossible theme played in the background carrying with him a very important black suitcase to the delight of family and friends. Page girl Leah then went about her way laying down a path of white rose petals before Kylie appeared arm in arm with her father. Amongst a vineyard of glorious yellows and oranges, Robert & Kylie pronounced their vows to each other, as well as something I’ve not seen before; with their love of all things wine, they also placed a pre-written letter to each other in an empty wine bottle to read in another 10 years from now, kind of like a time capsule! Sealed with a kiss (or two!) the new Mr & Mrs danced down the aisle under a spray of rose petals, and danced their way into the night with good company, precious memories and of course, lot’s of wine!
Finally, congrats Kylie & Robert! May your bond mature like a nice red, enjoy every sip but drink moderately!!
