Well hello there,
I’m Adam!
I’m the name, face and creator behind Journey By Light Photography.
I’m more than your photographer; I’m also your story teller, a light chaser and fiercely dedicated vision magician, striving to capture your “real” unposed self!
I love that this “job” gives me the opportunity to meet new people and I absolutely thrive on making connections with your tribe!
Comfortable and accomplished in almost all genres, primarily, I’m a wedding photographer and family and portrait photographer. I’m also a passionate landscape and aerial photographer, and on occasion a corporate and commercial photographer.

Who doesn’t love a wedding? Or better still, photographing one (that’s two big hands up from me!) Are you after a friendly and playful photographer whose speciality is creating romantic imagery from real and unposed moments, capturing all the magic of your day and delivering not just stunning and emotive photography, but has the confidence and experience to put you at ease so you can both just truly enjoy your ‘best day ever’? Family Photography & Portraits
Family’s grow up and bigger in the blink of an eye so finding the time to capture this journey is a decision you won’t regret in years to come. That’s where I come into the picture (pardon the pun!). I approach family and portrait photography in a way that portray’s your individuality, relationship and “quirks” through getting to know you a little bit beforehand. I like to keep it natural and as unposed as possible but happy to capture the obligatory family groups. I’ll be guiding you through it all but we’ll be having a lot of fun improvising too because those moments are often the best!

Landscape Photography
Living in the Macedon Ranges has spoilt me for choice when it comes to capturing it’s beauty. The many unique and beautiful pockets that scatter the landscape have truly inspired me over the years to capture it’s essence, the light and it’s many seasons. I’m very proud and passionate about where I live and would love to share this with you. I now offer limited runs of my favourite images as archival quality prints for everyone to enjoy, to display and liven up your home or office walls. But the passion doesn’t stop there. Being a landscape photographer the desire to travel and document other parts of this beautiful rock we live on has taken me to Tasmania, NSW and New Zealand. You’ll also find prints of these amazing regions too.
